Know that right now I have quite a few books to read and some in high priority. It may take me a while to read yours if you do submit it and I do agree to read and review it. I accept both e-books and print books. If I am given a print copy from an author or publisher I will try to pass it on to a new reader through a giveaway after I am done with it. I hope to soon start some blog tours and send books out to as many readers as possible! I'm also open to any giveaways you would like to host, just let me know!

Things You Need To Know

I am very comfortable with the young adult genre. I find that most of the books I read come out of this group. With that said, I do occasionally branch out and try new things every now and then.

Generally, I don't waste my time on books I'm unsure about or have a hard time reading/getting into. I usually have a 50-100 page rule. After 50-100 pages I think about how much I'm enjoying the book and determine if I should finish it. Sometimes I go back to the books and try them again, sometimes not so much.

My reviews are solely for entertainment purposes, I spend my free time reading and I don't get any type of monetary compensation for any of the reviews that I post. I also don't do ads. I just do this for me, and other readers looking for great books.

My Soap Box

If I start reading a book and decide it's not for me I normally don't review it. Meaning, there will very rarely be extremely negative reviews on my blog, closer to never. I just don't find them productive, I won't waste my time and won't waste yours. Please keep in mind that if I do accept your book for review and can't finish it or don't want to, I will contact you to let you know rather than post everywhere that it was awful. It's my opinion, we all have one, and me bashing someone's hard work is not something that will be found on my blog. I hope this is ok with everyone.

If I do give ratings on a book, this is what the stars may mean. Normally, I will go into detail when discussing the book what I liked and maybe didn't like, 2 and 1 star reviews are rare if ever.



Just keep in mind, this blog is a very informal outlet for me...

★★★★★ LOVE means I loved this book. I couldn't put the book down. I loved the originality, suspense, and or twists and turns.

★★★★☆ REALLY LIKE generally means I liked this book.

★★★☆☆ LIKE is for books that I liked. Probably hard to get into but maybe picked up at some point. I may have been disappointed and expected more, but was overall satisfied and enjoyed reading it.

★★☆☆☆ OKAY/NOT SO GREAT books are those I may have gotten through, but it was like pulling teeth. I didn't like the book. Something about it was off, cheesy, not my style.. I think you get the picture.

★☆☆☆☆ DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME books I may not have finished. I just wasn't a fan. Could have been the predictableness of the story, or the characters, just the plot in general.
